We are Breakaway 3937

Breakaway 3937 is Harding Academy’s FRC team. The mission of Breakaway and the school’s robotics program is to spark a genuine love for learning, to foster resilience in the face of challenges, and to inspire a commitment to shape the future. We do this by enabling students to participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition, an international high school robotics program. On Breakaway, students learn trade-specific skills while building a robot. Students also have the opportunity to learn soft skills such as marketing, public speaking, and data analytics. Breakaway is an outreach-focused team, working to spread STEM throughout Arkansas using five E’s of opportunity: Excite, Engage, Equip, Empower, and Expand. In addition to the high school program, Harding Academy offers a jr. high robotics team, the Mindsweepers, and an elementary program for grades 4-6, Lego Club.
