We are Breakaway 3937

Harding Academy participates in the FIRST robotics program. Members of the school’s FRC team, Breakaway 3937, develop engineering such as CAD design, machining, electrical wiring, and programming to build a competitive robot designed for FIRST competitions.  Students also develop crucial business skills in the areas of data analytics, marketing, social media management, public speaking, supply-chain management, and strategic planning to fulfill the team’s mission to lead with purpose, learn humility, serve with heart, and rise through challenges.

Breakaway is an outreach-focused team that is actively working to spread STEM throughout Arkansas using what the team has identified as its five E’s of opportunity: Excite, Engage, Equip, Empower, and Expand. This work has earned the team recognition for the impact its outreach initiatives and service have had on its community and the state of Arkansas. In addition to the high school program, Harding Academy offers robotics programs  level through its middle school FLL robotics team, the Mindsweepers, and an after school program, Lego Club, for grades 4-6.
