Art Club

Our Art Club focuses on art appreciation and service in our community and beyond state borders. This extracurricular club provides an opportunity for students to interact with art outside of class schedules. 

The club participates in projects around school like t-shirt designing, homecoming decorations, set design for the Wildcat Theater Co., and holiday celebrations. 

In the community the Art Club has created a mural for Searcy Headstart, painted a piano for a public art installation, face painted for a variety of events for foster children, and provided painting nights.

One highlight of the Art Club is going on trips to see art in person. We have taken trips to the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts in Little Rock, Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, and a variety of museums and exhibitions in Chicago, IL. Our goals for students through the Art Club is to develop critical thinkers, empathetic observers, and lifelong art appreciators.
